We believe that every young person deserves the chance to start their career with confidence, regardless of their background. Our mission is to remove barriers, provide resources, and connect young people with opportunities that can transform their futures.
KickstartCo was founded by Lawrence Masawi, who knows firsthand the challenges young people face when stepping into the world of work.
After completing his GCSEs, Lawrence began searching for a clear, reliable source of opportunities — jobs, apprenticeships, mentorship, and funding — but found a frustrating gap. There was no single place where young people could easily discover, understand, and access all the resources available to them.
Determined to fill that void, he created KickstartCo: a platform built for 16–24-year-olds to explore real jobs, apprenticeships, grants, and career support, all in one accessible space.
What started as one young person’s search for guidance has grown into a nationwide community helping thousands take their first confident step onto the career ladder.
